Scotia Tours were created in 1938 as a result of the massive event taking place at Bellahouston Park – the Glasgow Empire Exhibition. This attracted some 12 Million visitors between May and September, and Mr Robert Campbell Warden operated the first ‘Scotia Tour’ to take punters to and from the venue.
Scotia Tours would probably operate up till 1947, when Scotia Transport would be registered as a bone fide Travel Agent.
Fast forward to today, we operate from Glasgow city centre as an independent travel agent and tour operator, generally specialising in tailor made trips, longhaul and cruise.
We have access to most major airlines and tour operators and can organise anything from a hotel break in the UK, to a Mediterranean beach holiday or a faraway trip or cruise.
